I had awoken with the sound of screaming and clashes of swords, jumping to my feet, I realized that Antonio was preparing for some battle. My eyes, wide in terror, had hugged him from behind. Chuckling, my fiancée had ruffled my head. Then, without any warning, one of Antonio's crew had burst in.
"Captain Antonio… What—Who is that chica?!"
"My beloved. Do not ask questions, and keep her safe."
"Yes sir, I follow, sir!"
Soon enough, I was taken away by the man, and Antonio waved a farewell. I didn't know how to react or respond, and I had been separated by the Spaniard I loved. Just as I was about to be kept in a secret safe, a man grabbed me by the shoulder. A cold blade had been placed over my throat, and I felt my heart stop.
"Who is this woman?"
The crew that had tried to protect me had unsheathed his sword, prepared to fight. I look up to see a man with pale skin and messy, short blonde hair with lime-green eyes, reflecting evil. His brows were thick, and I felt the dagger press harder against my skin, feeling it slightly dig into my flesh. Feeling sparks of fear run and through my nerves, prickling me. I shivered, feeling helpless like a puppet on a lonely string.
"Captain Antonio's admirer. Now unhand her!"
But with very quick and sharp movements, the blonde pirate had made the crew drop to his bottom, and pointed a sword to the poor man's heart. He was fast, and I did not notice anything happening around me. He still had the dagger pressed against me.
"Now,"
The Englishman had whispered with a low, husky voice into my ears. My ears pricked, and my lips trembled. Somewhere in the ocean, there must be fast waves, beating as quickly as my heart.
"Why don't I hold you, love, as hostage?"
---
I soon spotted Arthur Kirkland, the English pirate, also known as England. He flashed a grin at me, as though waiting for me; his eyes with sparks of fire, asking for a duel. Kirkland's golden epaulettes were placed on his shoulders, shimmering from the light of the sunrays. His black, leather glove had been decorated with rings with rubies and emeralds, sapphires and many other jewels. His blood red cape had already been stained with dark colors of crimson.
However, I realized something was strange. The thick-browed man had an expression on his face, showing a lot of mystery.
"Kirkland… you again, eh?"
I spoke to him with a gruff voice, carefully my way towards him. I had my sword in both hands, and I watched every movement Kirkland made. He bowed very gentlemanly, then looked up into my eyes.
"I hear… you've got yourself an admirer, no?"
The moment I heard those words, I charged myself towards him. England swiftly blocked my blade, and took a gun out and pointed it to a pole… A pole where (name) had been tied to. With shock, my eyes widened as I saw her frail body shiver. I gave England a cold glare and he snickered.
"What about a deal? Your fiancée for all your treasures."
My rage had made me go out of control. My attacks were aimless, and all I had wanted to do was give the Englishman a hard blow. England kept going on with the pointless speech.
"It's either you accept the deal, or death. Death can be given to either you, or your sweetheart."
"Don't even try doing anything to make (name) involved!"
---
After I had fainted for several minutes, I had found myself tied to a pole. Regaining consciousness, I saw Antonio on the floor, head and legs bleeding with horrible cuts. He held on tightly to his side, cringing with pain. Trying let the ropes let loose, I squirm and wiggle. It's no use.
"Arthur Kirkland… don't you ever lay a hand on (name),"
I heard the Spaniard croak out with a dry throat. No… you mustn't, Antonio, please… Antonio's body was pinned to the wooden floor, a sharp sword hovering over his chest. Kirkland snickered, claiming victory.
"Prepare for your fate, Spain!"
"Arthur Kirkland! I challenge you to a duel!"
I screamed, and both pirates whip their heads towards my direction. The tan-skinned pirate had shook his head, begging me with his eyes. Kirkland had come up to me, and bent over. Soon I was face to face with him.
"You are an interesting woman."
He cut the thick ropes that tied me to the pole. Shaking off my fear and mercy, I stood. Looking at the blonde pirate with an evil eye, I took a sword that had been left besides me. Stepping back, Arthur had been in position.
"Don't underestimate me, Kirkland."

"So, are you going to give me the gold the easy way, or the hard way?" You ask, grinning. You nudged the captain of the ship with the blade of your sword a little.
The captain shrinks back a little. "T-take our gold, just please don't kill us!" He wails.
You snicker and step back, making the captain of the ship fall flat on his face. "Alright men, release the wimps and follow me." You say, waving your men over. "Look in every nook and cranny, to find the gold."
Your men let out a cheer, and rush around the ship. You turn to Antonio's men, who are staring at you with their mouths open. "Now you," You say, pointing at them. They f

You were walking down your home port in Spain. The only thing that was truly on your mind was Antonio Carriedo, your lover. The word around town was that he was kidnapped by Blackjack(1), rumored to be a fearsome pirate and a blackmailer. You felt tears brimming your eyes at the thought.
"Why would anyone want to hurt such a sweet man..?" You asked yourself this every day, every night, and every minute. You remembered back to the day when you first met Antonio.
** Flashback **
You were walking around the calm port at night. The only reason you did this was because of the starry sky that the town provided. You were very interested in ast
