DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN YOU OR HETALIA!

---

You looked at yourself in the mirror again. You woke up very early so you could prepare yourself for the date Alfred planned for you. You tied a small, white bow in your hair and brushed a little bit of make-up on. You even shuffled through your whole closet to find a cool black-and-white tank-top and a black jean jacket to wear over it. You slipped into a cute red layered skirt that reached half-way down your thighs. Then you put on some black, knee-high socks that had tiny laces. You grabbed your backpack and slid your foot into red converse. You quickly head out before you could change your mind to go back in and wear your normal clothes. It took you a lot of gut to walk out like that, you know.

When you got to school, everyone stared at you. Sometimes you weren't sure if it was because it looked silly on you, or if you actually looked good. Well, there weren't any laughter going around in the halls, so you remained optimistic. You went up to your locker and found a small, folded-up piece of paper inside. It said,

Meet me in the parking-lot after school, in the space nearest to the flagpole. BTW, you look real pretty. You should dress like that every day!

You blushed and neatly placed the paper in your left breast-pocket so you could keep it close to your heart.

---

You still feel eyes on you as you walk over to Arthur's table at lunch. He was slowly trying to get up and avoid you, till you grabbed his wrist.

"Arthur, I need to talk to you."

He avoided your eyes, but he sat down anyways.

"I didn't know you were Alfred's step-brother."

He whipped his head to look at you.

"Let me guess, you're going on a date with that wanker."

"Yeah, Arthur. I hope you don't mind."

"Geez, ________, I can't believe you were such a nutcase!"

"He's not as bad as you think he is,"

You replied, even though you knew you knew nothing about him. The Brit groaned and let the subject drop. He didn't want to talk about it.

"Listen, Arthur, I know it's strange to see me dressed up like this, and still trying to talk to you like a normal friend from before, but—"

"I get it, alright? It is strange. But I still can't let go of the fact you used to be like me, a geek."

"I still am, okay? I'm still gonna get straight-A's, because I know I will."

"Well, that just makes you a smart, pretty, girl. Not a smart, dorky, geek."

"Thanks for the compliment, but I already suffered enough being dorky. You should try it out. I know you're really handsome."

For the rest of lunch, neither of you talked. You didn't know what happened between him and Alfred, but your heart couldn't stop beating for Alfred. You truly realized how much love can control you—it's unstoppable and exciting.

---

You waited for Alfred to meet you at the pole, as planned. A red jeep pulled up, and you smiled. Alfred jumped out of the car and hugged you. You hugged him back.

"Ready for the date, _________?"

You nod and blush as he helps you into the car.

"Were you alright? I mean, your other friends like Matthew and Ivan…"

"It's fine. Some disagreed on the idea of me dating you, but I can ignore them. And how was your day at school?"

"Everyone seemed surprised because I dressed-up like this."

"I love it, ya know?"

He said as he winked at you. You felt your face turn red, nearly exploding. Alfred drove out of the school parking-lot and onto the street.

"Where exactly are we going?"

Alfred smiled into the review mirror. It's a surprise, you guessed. The American dressed up quite casually for the date today. He wore a white t-shirt that said "HERO" over the design of an American flag, and under that, he wore a gray long-sleeved shirt. He wore moss-green cargo pants and beige converse. Before you knew it, he drove into a beautiful area of town near the river docks. You've heard that near the river docks, there are many places for couples to chill out and have fun—and it was beautiful. The sun had started to set, and the street lamps flickered on. Crazy party music rang in the streets, and Alfred pulled you out.

"Sorry, did you not like loud music, babe?"

You blushed as he called you 'babe', it made you skip a beat in your heart. You spoke your true thoughts out.

"Perhaps somewhere slightly quieter would be nice."

Alfred put a thumbs-up sign and grinned. Hand in hand, you walked with him over to the dock. His large, bony, hands were warm and powerful. Near the dock was a large dance party, and without any warning, Alfred picked you up bride-style. You giggled as he did so. You heard a jazz music go on and Alfred's hand grabbed your waist while the other took your hand. You gently place your other free hand on the American's shoulder. You laughed as you two danced for a long time, from jazz to some tango that neither of you knew how to dance and fooled around with. Then, there was the waltz.

It was close to night, and the sky was sparkling with stars, and the moon's reflection was shone in the calm river waters.

"You're so cute, babe," Alfred complimented, "especially when you laugh and smile."

"Thanks," you stated, not knowing what else to say.

Alfred was so handsome. He was dazzling with a great smile and had sweet yet bold, blue eyes. His soft, blonde hair was golden like the sun, and his skin had a fair complexion that glows with a hint of pink. As he spun you around again, you were lost in your thoughts that you tripped and fell—right into Alfred's arms.

"Sorry, babe, let's take a break."

He carried you to the closest bench, and you rested your head on his broad shoulder. It was the best night you've ever had. Even though your ankle was hurt a little bit, you had enjoyed every moment being next to Alfred.

"Thank you so much… This is was the best day of my life."

"Then let me hear you say three words I want to hear."

You paused before saying them.

"I love you."

"I love you too, babe."

He pulled you into a sweet, gentle kiss. His lips were slightly chapped, but you didn't mind at all. The light taste of the chocolate he ate earlier entered your lips, and you smiled, breaking the kiss. The two of you laughed and kissed him again, a quick and chaste one. Then all of a sudden, fireworks lit the sky. You stood up and watched the sky as Alfred wrapped his arms around your waist and put his head on your shoulder. You can smell a relaxing scent of shampoo from the side.

"Thank you. You changed my life."
I hope you all loved it!
