DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN YOU OR HETALIA!
---
Several months have passed since I moved into the apartment, and I always hung out with Roderich after work. Since Roderich didn't quite like the cold winter, we had always stayed inside one another's apartments, switching off every day or so. And every time we were in his apartment, we had played Classical music on his piano and sung songs. Roderich wasn't a bad alto, and we had recently been slightly interested in jazz.
One cold, winter day, when we were in his room, he had started playing Ave Maria. I patiently listened, and hummed, which soon turned into a singing voice. After all of that ended, Roderich looked outside his window, and dazed off, watching the snow fall gently onto the ground.
"Almost Christmas, I see."
"Yup! It's in 2 days!"
I exclaimed, resting my chin on his shoulder and laughing. Then he smiled and looked at me with his handsome, violet eyes.
"Let's take a stroll. I'm sure it'd be best if we spend Christmas together. Let us buy some cake and eat it on Christmas."
I blinked several times. Roderich doesn't quite like outdoors. He doesn't hate it, but not the number one thing he'd want to do.
"Uhm, sure! Let me grab my purse and some warm clothing."
"No, I will pay for the cake!"
I puffed my cheeks out and pouted.
"No, Iwill!"
"________, let me be a gentleman for once!"
"Let me do what I want!"
Roderich sighed and rubbed the back of his neck and bit his lower lip.
"Fine."
---
I kept my hands in the pockets of my trench coat and shivered slightly. ________ chuckled and pointed at a cake store, her innocent face glowing with a smile.
"That's my favorite cake shop! Let's go there!"
She grabbed my hand and led me to the store, making me stumble slightly. She selected a small Christmas cake and I had managed to convince her that I should pay for it. She thanked me politely and her face lit up, taking me out of the shop.
I needed to tell her my true feeling. My heart had already had enough keeping it in, and I just wanted to shout it out. The whole point of this "walk" was for it to turn into a "date", and I had already planned how to tell her, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I was going to tell her with my own mouth, but…
"Look at that! It's so pretty!"
It was a simple glass wall, and it had many writings on it. It was written out in colorful markers. Then I decided to change my little plan, recalling the fact that I was quite shy.
---
Roderich had smiled and I blushed. His handsome face, gentle voice, the music he makes… I couldn't stop myself from loving him. We walked over to the glass and I smiled at Roderich whom was across from me. A simple glass wall that separates the two of us.
________, I have something totell write to you.
Roderich wrote, but it was all backwards. I giggled and he had a small tint of pink on his cheeks. Recalling how to write backwards, I wrote;
The words are backwards! What is it?
Roderich placed a small smile on his lips and blushed into a dark red while writing the three words I never expected to see.
I love you
---
She had put a hand over her mouth, and started to cry. I started panicking. What have I done? What did I do? But before I think anymore, ________ ran to my side and hugged you. I carefully hugged her back, and I felt her warm tears on my chest.
"L-let me hear y-you say it."
She said, wiping her tears off childishly. I lifted my hands towards the side of her face and wiped her tears away with my thumb and whispered into her ear.
"I love you, ________. You are my singing angel."
She started crying again, and with a small, frail voice she replied.
"I love you! I love you too, Roderich! I love you, I love you!"
---
I couldn't believe it. He had told me he had loved me! It was a dream come true. I heart leaped out of my chest, and I felt warmth that I had never experienced. He slowly pulled me into a soft, quick kiss, and after our lips parted, he looked away with a bright red face.
"Thank you…"
Then I decided that I'd sing something for him…
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favorite things
Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
these are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
silver white winters that melt into springs
these are a few of my favorite things…
"There isn't a single thing that I find bad today, Roderich, I can't sing the next verse! And spending time with you are one of my favorite things."

My Favorite Things, an old and famous classic I loved. I felt joy dance in my heart, and I smiled a small smile, letting her know I love her as well. We soon then visited several other stores, and she had bought some yarn behind my back, and knit furiously to give me a beautiful hand-knit scarf for Christmas. In return, I had given her a small bracelet that had our initials and a heart engraved onto the band of the bracelet. After enjoying each other's presents, we sang and played Christmas songs and had fun. Night approached faster than ever, and I asked ________, while she had her leaned against my shoulder on the couch.
"Can I ask what's in that locket of yours?"
"Hmmm? Oh this, sure, I'll show you."
It had a small picture of her parents on one side, and a blank empty side on the other. She smiled and formed a rectangle with her thumbs and index fingers.
"I was thinking about putting you in the other side of the locket. What do you think?"
"Of course,"
I said. She smiled and pulled me in for a kiss once again. It tasted like (sorry if any of you readers are allergic to these ingredients in the cake! Just replace it with something that you are not allergic to, please.) whip-cream, strawberries, and chocolate. A sweet night with my lover. I had never felt this happy before.

PrussiaxMermaid Reader: -Part 2-
Upon waking up the next morning, you dressed yourself in a pure white sun dress. You wanted to walk around, and maybe even bump into Gilbert. But that was highly unlikely.
Walking down the wood stairs, you heard Arthur call out for you while you fastened your shoes,"I'm going out for groceries! Green tea, right?" He mumbled something and you easily took that as a yes.
You ran outside into the shimmering sunlight which so delicately hit your face. Running down the cobblestone streets, you made your way into the small village that was nearby your home. It was just a beautiful place; no words could describe it.

As you tried to pull away from the Frenchman, his grip just got tighter.
"Let go of me!" ____ screamed, but your pleats just made him smile.
"Now, Now ____, don't be a bad girl! You know that only turns me on!" Francis chuckled.
"God, please let me go!" You begged.
Then you felt his grip loosen as someone else picked you up, firefighter style. At first you hoped that it was Ludwig but you saw him staring from the other side of the room. As you felt a soft scarf rub against your face you smiled.
" Thanks Ivan" You said as he put you down.
"No problem, he was bothering you, da?"
You and Ivan have been neighbors ever since you moved with

You walking into your house a bit late today, traffic was a mess and the meeting lasted a bit longer than usual. You didn’t think anything of it, he was probably busy with some other girl. Sighing you walk up the stairs to your room.
“Where the hell have you been?” A booming voice assaulted your eardrums once you reached the top of the stairs. “I’m just a little late. That’s all.” “A little?! Bitch you were supposed to make me dinner a half an hour ago!”
You flinched slightly at how loud his voice was getting. “I’m sorry I ran into traffic and th
